However saying this, I don't believe it has the mass to be stable in the use of a shooting rest. I use it as a platform to raise and lower measuring tools and it works well for that. **Q: Is the screw jack bolt fine or coarse thread?** A: I believe it is a NC thread but why would this matter? You have infinite adjustability with either NC or NF threads or even if it is some metric pitch.
