It will not hit mid-calf unless you are about 6'6". Also, the gradation is not at all discernable, much unlike the photo. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fun skirt! *by D***S on December 28, 2018* This Wild Hazel Cotton Skirt is a fun flirty skirt that can be worn to work, to a party, on a night out, even to an information wedding. I have been wearing this skirt with a white shirt but it can also be worn with a blouse and a number of different colors (I wear white because of the white design on the skirt). The skirt is what I call “ruffley” which not only makes it fun to wear but makes the skirt thick enough so that you don’t need to wear a slip under it. The skirt comes down to my calf and can be worn with a wide variety of shoes –I prefer sandals. The washing instructions for the skirt say to hand wash it or have it dry cleaned – I wash and dry this skirt on the delicate cycle with no issues. I received this skirt in a size medium and while it fits well, it is tight across my stomach, and an extra pound or two will definitely show while wearing this skirt.I really like this Wild Hazel Cotton Skirt! ### ⭐⭐⭐ Fabric too light to hang properly, and dye stink took forever to wash out *by �***T on January 5, 2019* - Waist has tons of stretch, more than the skirt does- Stinks for several washes- Very soft feeling- I can find no tag with country of origin nor care instructions, which is technically against Federal law.- About 30" long, give or take, due to the ruffle effect- Top tummy section is soft, the rest is very thin but stiff with dyeI liked it online (even with the silly shoe choice) but it's falling short for me in person. The dye stink gave me a nasty headache, and the uneven hem line just looks like static cling.With the other 3 colors, you can better see the drape pattern (and it looks like coffin lining to me), but with the blue tie dye I got, you can't tell it, so it really just looks un-ironed or too light a fabric to even hang.So, not so much for me.
