Even this organic one does but it may be that as in a warehouse with other items that have chemicals. We bought it to hopefully extend the life of our Happsy mattress, which we LOVE too. Only issue is that we've had this topper a few months now, and it still smells rubbery, obviously from the natural latex used. It's less now, but still definitely there. Hasn't bothered my asthma, so it doesn't seem something to be concerned about. It's certainly better than the other chemical-laced, commercial options out there. Definitely don't want toxic chemicals offgassing for years to come.
