Disposable cotton rounds, while undoubtedly more convenient, hurt the skin around my eyes a bit. There is a scratchy feel to them. I have to put several swipes of makeup remover on them.With these pads, I only had to apply a small dab of makeup remover once per pad side to take off my mascara. The pads are silky soft and leave no redness or irritation around my eyes. I machine washed some of them in the bag that was included, with great success. I spritzed them with a little white vinegar first and gathered up other laundry while it soaked.I am a permanent convert to these. I tried using toner with these, but I felt like I wasted more product trying to get the pads to absorb than getting it onto my face. So I decided to start using this for skincare processes that required me to remove or wash off. I love using these when I erase my eye makeup, as a wash cloth when I’m washing my face (wet cloth and use cloth to get soap off), and also when I exfoliate my lips!
