I bought the cape for my 2.5-year-old with the hope that she'll be able to use it for several years. I bought the size 7/8 even though she wears 3T because other reviewers said that for the cape to be nice and long, sizing up several sizes was a good idea. They were right! This should come most of the way down her legs (she hasn't seen it yet since it's not Christmas ;) ) and I think she'll get several years of use out of it. I appreciate the long ties, which I can tie in a bow so it'll stay on her but be easily removed. The fuzzy outside is nice and soft. It doesn't really appear reversible but I suppose could be if you wanted. The color is a beautiful bright pink, very close to the online image.
