They work just as advertised. You can recharge them ready for use at a later time, just when you need them. Just click the disc and hey - you have heat on the go. This made me think about how I might get hold of some of the chemicals used in these to recharge a large suitcase size device in the sun over the summer and store lots them in the garage for the winter...
