Easily held 15 pints. The photo shows a 1 quart jar beside it to show how tall it is. Solves my problem of water boiling over while processing quarts.Glad I didn't pay extra for a drain valve because I don't want a potential leak of hot water. After the water has cooled I siphoned the water into my sink, but a bucket would work also.
