I had no idea the power supply could be the issue but after investigating online I thought I would give it a try. This new power supply worked and solved the problem of the amplifier cutting out.

And it doesn't take up a lot of room on the power strip. I am using this with a Roland Micro Cube that I got used with no power supply. This PSU drives it to ridiculous volume cleanly. I do not get any buzz or hum. One caution, however: this unit comes with a polarity reversing adapter which I need to use with the Micro Cube. BE SURE TO LOOK ON WHATEVER YOU PLUG THIS IN TO AND GET THE POLARITY RIGHT! Obviously, I didn't gig the product as I regard this as a feature. Included in the box is a warning about polarity, I'm just emphasizing this point for those who don't read the materials in the box. (Although I'm not sure those people are reading my review...)
