I'm not new to these devices at all, I've been using them for years, so it's not like I'm doing something wrong. It's just a poorly designed pore vacuum ...and the various lights aren't going to do anyone ANY good when the filter is bouncing around, blocking the light. They're not going to do anyone any good anyway the light needs to be on for more than a swipe to have any effect. The lights are just a gimmick and you can't use just the lights - they only work with the suction being on. Again, poor design. I wish I still had the box so I could return it - what a waste of money.
