At my job, we are only allowed to wear black pants and black shoes (blouse negotiable). As a 47 year old woman, having had 4 children, with some curves and retaining some of that "baby weight" yet, it is nearly impossible to find the perfect dress pant. These have the wide waist band that make them comfortable on the tummy, BUT they don't assume that because the waist is bigger, the legs must follow. The legs stay straight! I also have a shorter torso and longer legs, and these are long enough to wear heels, but will also work with my loafers. The material is on the thinner side, as others have stated, but does not reduce the quality of these pants. They actually move with me, which will work well with the job I am currently in. The price tag attached to these pants say $69.99, I don't know where they come from, but I definitely feel like they are worth every penny I purchased them for here on Amazon. Buyer beware: The tag does mention the best form of maintenance is dry cleaning, although it does say cold water wash and line dry with a cool iron will work as well. Not worried about that as I am SO EXTREMELY happy with the fit of these pants. FYI: Order the size you usually wear (honestly) and they will be perfect. Don't go by the size chart. I should have ordered a 14 according to their size chart, but went with my usual 16 and we are good to go! Can't wait to go to work on Monday and wear my new pants! Who even says that?!
