Review: An old standard with a great product - My old Samsung monitor died and I was looking for a replacement. I was really looking for a 1920x1200 monitor but those are hard to come by these days. I use the monitor as a second monitor to monitor my internet connections so that was not the most important spec on my list. In searching for a good replacement at a reasonable price I came across this one. Having been around computer for many years Planar was on old and familiar name. After comparing the specs of the Planar with those of several others that looked promising I settled on the Planar. I don't need a monitor with a lot of extras such as speakers and addition ports as this unit gets set up, connected and turned on. This unit is a very good monitor at a good price. It would work equally well as a primary monitor. The display is very sharp and clear and has no apparent dead pixels. If all you are looking for is just a monitor with a great display i would recommend this one. And the price is reasonable too.
Review: Great for the money - I think that for the money this is an excellent monitor. I've had it for about 3 months now, running HDMI from my laptop. It worked pretty well with my flight simulator, it probably wouldn't be ideal for a hardcore gamer but it will get you by. I'd definitely make this investment. I posted a video with my review showing the monitor full screen playing at 1440p off YouTube. It lagged a little trying to keep up with 4k, but was flawless at 1440p.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: For the 22" monitor can it be raised/lowered? Can it be tilted forward/backward? can it swivel left/right on the stand?**
A: I can confim that it tilts forward and backwards. Does not swivel, raise or lower though.

**Q: Does this have a panel on the back to install a wall mount?**
A: The feature list says "Compatible with mounting options that use 100mm VESA standard". Sounds like if you buy a VESA standard wall mount, it'll work fine, but it doesn't come with one if that's what you are asking.

**Q: Is this matte or glossy? Don't want a huge glare**

**Q: It says that the inputs are DVI / VGA. Does this monitor bring one of the cables or both? Or do I need to buy them separately? Thanks in advance!**
A: Sorry, I can't be 100% certain... but the user manual for my PLL2410W only claims that a VGA cable is included.  As a sort-of-confirmation, the DVI cable I have attached is a beige aftermarket cable rather than a black one that would typically come with a black monitor.  Hope this helps.

I think that for the money this is an excellent monitor. I've had it for about 3 months now, running HDMI from my laptop. The Planar 24" LED monitor is gorgeous. Very sharp & rich colors. It is better than my regular work LCD monitors. It is great for working on anything, web pages, YouTube, videos, photos. They have no dead pixels that I could see. Win7, Win8, Win10, and Ubuntu linux all recognized the correct monitor display. It has both VGA and DVI connectors, has display adjustments if you need them, the base tilts for adjustment, it was packed very well, and got a great price from Amazon. I liked it so much I bought 2 more. Highly recommended.
