Hyber&Cara Anti Slip Grip Tape combines a glowing fluorescent stripe with tough 80 grit aluminum oxide traction to prevent slips on stairs and steps. Product Description Properties No residue after removal Chemical and oil resistant Strong water resistant adhesive Glow in the dark for up to 8 hours. Aggressive surface with 80 grit for high traction. Main material: gravel, paper, strong acrylic glue, fluorescent Suitable for indoors and outdoors Suitable for: flat, clean, smooth, hard floors or surfaces (e.g. floors, stairs, steps, corridors, ramps, vehicle steps, emergency exit ladders, scaffolding, cinema aisles, etc.) Not suitable for: rough, soft, damp, dusty or porous soil How to Use 1. Make sure the contact surfaces are flat, clean, and dry when you apply the tape. 2. Cut the tape to the desired length and round off the corners with scissors. 3. Peel off the protective paper and place the tape in the desired position. (If the temperature is low, please warm it up slowly with a hair dryer and stick with good results) 4. The pressure is applied evenly from the center of the tape to both ends. (Wait for 24 hours) 5. Expose the tape to a light source for a while to keep it glowing in the dark. Other Tips The tape absorbs 30 minutes light source can be light for some time. Very porous surfaces will give you a problem - it didn't work on old brickwork steps as the surface was too unstable. You shouldn't expect this to be a permanent solution. If you are using this outdoors the water will eventually win - indoors it will last much longer. The glow strip is very bright, and even when the glow is finished the strip still makes the edge of the step more visible. The grips are very effective. It definitely helps with those with unstable legs who have problems with balance. Cost per use seems pretty good - it's been stuck to my front steps since I bought it and no sign of it coming away. **Q: will it stick to round chrome side steps on a 4x4?**
A: Personally will not recommend to use. Its not strong and will not fit on rounded objects

**Q: Has the decking have to be dry before you apply it ?**
A: Hi. It is recommended that you use it on dry floors. The stickiness of the non-slip reflective strip will be stronger.

**Q: Does it stick to outside stone steps**
A: I stick them inside on the stairs and is a good product I don’t know outside but the glue is good on the product

**Q: Can anyone tell me the conditon of the tape after 2 winters? The last one I tried did not last 1 winter.**
A: For me this didn’t last even Autumn season,after rain is was all wet and useless to use

This glowing grip tape is perfect for dark rooms - we are using it in our theatre audience seating. The sandpaper-style grip seems to work really well on steps, and the glow is surprisingly good too. I put this on my outside steps and it certainly works, it shows up brilliantly especially coming down the steps as they are white and before I couldn’t define the edges I have since become less steady on my feet and it gives a good grip on the edge of the steps for me
