A: I... am pretty sure the inquirer meant the skin of the vegetable.... >_>;;

**Q: Is this made in China?**
A: I’m not sure, but oxo products have a great reputation. I have their scale and I love it. Prolly one of the best kitchen scales on the market. This peeler does what it should, and is quite sharp. But it only has one job really. I just use it on carrots. If you want a good standard peeler, Kuhn rikon is the one you want.

**Q: How is it different from a regular Y peeler?**
A: Different type of blade, awesome for slicing the peeling off citrus fruit, doesn’t slice off any of the pith..

**Q: Does this work for left-handers?**
A: I've used it with both left and right hands without any issues.

This works well, and is fast and easy to use. Very sharp! I was hoping the slices would be maybe twice as thick but I suppose I need a different tool for that. Anyway I still use it here and there, sometimes I use it for thicker cut Parmesan cheese.
