We have gone through a number of products that help him stay quiet and focused while still engaging in the learning process, this product has been wonderful. This particular putty is tolerant of all the things 12 year old boys can do to putty including dropping it, brushing his hair with it, rolling it on the desk, and pulling it apart. He left it on the dashboard of the car to get it to soften up just enough to use comfortably.
