I personally bought them because i suffer from very sensitive teeth and with the lack of straws now being available and of course for the sake of the environment i researched and bought these ones. I don't use the tube they come with to store them in because itself is quite hard to clean. If I've been out and about and I've had a smoothie on the go or a cocktail then they will be sticky and often drippy when i shove them back into their container... so i bought an alternative.
