They breathe well and I haven't gotten too hot in them once. They're just baggy and loose enough to be completely comfortable no matter how I move or sit in them, but not overly so where they twist and bind. Like one or two other reviews I've found them a tad short in the length. Not high waters by any stretch but if you like your cuff dragging the floor and getting under heel, these aren't for you.
