The main issue I have is they go too far down your wrist, bumping and/or pushing in my apple watch dial - causing it to turn on siri, or stop apps that I'm using at that time. I switch my watch to my other hand while working out so that this issue stopped, but I don't like my watch on my dominant hand. It's got a good grip for weight lifting, and also plenty of padding inside the palm so it doesn't hurt, and you can maintain your grip. The double loops definitely help with removing them and the wrist straps are adjustable and can be tightly snug, or loose - whichever you prefer.
