It is held together with staples, which did not hold up to some sort of trauma on the middle column, causing the doors in front to break down.Once I repaired the broken parts I reinforced the joints with screws and corner braces and I felt comfortable enough to try and place my 30g tank on top.This cannot be used for 100% rimless aquariums, however, as there are two pieces of wood that are meant to catch on the bottom plastic trim of an aquarium in an effort to center the weight. They did not fit my standard 30g tank, so I had to pry those off before I could place my aquarium, and even then the frame of the stand was built crooked and didn't hit 90 degree angles on the corners (it was then that I decided to install the corner braces).I don't know that I would trust this piece without reinforcement given the lack of protection during shipping possibly shifting the square nature that would hold the weight. The wooden centering blocks also we're ineffective for me, especially since it wasn't square, but maybe if you used an "All Glass Aquarium" brand aquarium tank it may fit on better, but at the price I paid I cannot recommend this stand to anyone as there are better stands for less. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Good Stand, Poor Amazon listing *by F***K on Reviewed in the United States on September 20, 2013* This stand looks well made, with a nice black finish and solid pine construction. Unfortunately, I had to return it due to the incomplete description.
