I would like to say that your size chart isn't quite right. 14 yr is usually an 18 not 13. However we trusted the size and it fits well with some room to grow. The price was exceptional- about what we would pay in a men's store for slacks and we got a 3 piece suit with a shirt and tie as well. Our grandson loves it and is looking forward to wearing it for 8th grade prom and graduation!. I wasn't sure how the fit would be, or if it would even look good. I can't even describe how happy I was when I received the suit, and had my son try it on. The fit is wonderful! The front of the pants looks like normal suit pants, but the back of the pants has an elastic waist, which makes the pants fit perfectly! And this suit looks SO great on! It looks great on. It looks as nice as a much more expensive suit I saw in a department store at almost twice the price. The fabric in the shirt is somewhat thin, but passable. The suit material was not as thick as the department store one, but is thick enough to hang nicely. The pants are not lined. I bought size 8 for an 8 year old and it fit well overall. The pants needed to be hemmed by about 3 inches, so it would work even for a tall 8 year old.
