Wall Tapestries can be fun and still make a statement in your home. Our Tapestries are a must have piece of wall art decor as they always become a conversation piece. The texture of the wall tapestry makes this art unique and creates the intrigue that captivates us to examine it more closely. This art wall hanging is woven in our family owned textile mill in the mountains of North Carolina by expert weavers who have generations of weaving experience. We select the highest quality cotton yarn, weave it on jacquard looms then we cut and sew each wall tapestry by hand. The fabric of the tapestry creates an acoustic elegance to any room unlike the printed sheet "tapestries" which poorly imitate an authentic woven wall tapestry. The back of the tapestry is open so you can see how craftsmanship and weave structure creates the image on the face of the art. We use natural fibers such as cotton for each and every wall tapestry. Cotton is the most comforting natural fiber and it invites the touch of a hand...when was the last time you touched a painting. A wall tapestry is an inviting addition to your home decor. Our family was America’s first weavers, weaving blankets for our troops during the revolutionary war in our mill in Philadelphia. We love what we do and are proud of our textile heritage. Review: Beautiful design with nice quality of contstruction - There are a features I really like about this tapestry. First of all the design is beautiful and very well executed. It's hard to believe that it was accomplished with only 6 colors of thread. I bought this to replace an older tapestry and I felt it was time for a change. When I unpackaged the new one I surprised to see that there was no backing like on the one I was replacing. Also the tapestry came folded which left fold marks all across the design. I think it would be much nicer if the seller would consider rolling the tapestries and shipping them in tubes to avoid fold marks. Also I think it would be nice to add backing to the tapestries to cover the exposed threads. The one I replaced also had rods sewn into the bottom seam of the backing to add weight so that when the tapestry is hung it will lie flat against the wall. I think it would be nice if the tapestries had sleeves in both the top and bottom of the backing, not just the top, so that customers that want to hang their tapestries can add weight to the bottom if desired. I did use the supplied tacks to stretch the tapestry and reduce the visibility of the folds though I would have preferred to not have to put tacks in the tapestry or wall. Another feature that I liked is that this tapestry was made in the U.S. I like to support American companies when I can so this was a nice surprise. Over all a very beautiful tapestry with quality construction. I removed one star because of the missing features I mentioned above. I have no regrets about my purchase and would recommend this tapestry to others as a nice addition to their home.

There are a features I really like about this tapestry. First of all the design is beautiful and very well executed. It's hard to believe that it was accomplished with only 6 colors of thread.
