It's a lovely blue color and has a thick, mildly greasy ointment texture. It does sink into the skin after a while and was completely absorbed by the time I woke up in the morning. I don't want to attribute any effects solely to this ointment as I did use other soothing products, but my skin did recover unusually quickly after applying this. It shortened my downtime by 1-2 days by helping to moisturize the dry, flaky patches from the peel. Give this a shot!
