**Q: where is this made**
A: This is made on Bainbridge Island, WA in the USA

**Q: is there any chemical coating on this?**
A: The bamboo is finished with a food grade safe wood stain. The same quality that would be used on any wood cutting board to prevent water damage.

**Q: What tofu thickness would fit on the press?**
A: Mine has 2 inches (5.1 cm) of vertical space, although I'm not so sure it would be wise to use a block of tofu that thick. I would slice it down to about haft that height.

**Q: A spring on one side of the tofu press broke. Is there a way to get a replacement spring to fix this? Thanks!**
