It has sides that start with a smaller circle at the bottom then fan out so the top circle of the pot is larger than the size of the bottom. It is surprisingly large! Now then the cats, out of the 4 of them 2 have never shown any interest when it comes to catnip. A little look to see what it is then they are not interested at all. But with this one they all have a reaction to it. I tried the ones that cost a fortune and make claims that they are superior (if you know what I’m referring to) this one the kitty cats all have a positive experience with every time. Sometimes rolling on it, sometimes nibbling it and then they kind of just know when they have had enough playing then on their happy way to go and do the next thing that pops to their mind. This has never caused any of them to be affected to the point of being physically or mentally unable to be themselves but they do have fun and play.
