So that 3 batteries are charging on two banks.** A: Yes, we actually have two batteries in parallel on each side with the alternator output connected to the center. Connected the way you are questioning Will provide the highest charge current to the battery with the lowest charge and this is what you want. **Q: can this be use on 2 separate solar battery banks** A: I don't see why not. Hook the charge controller output to the center alternator terminal, then each of the two banks to the other two posts.
