It also helps develop problem-solving skills and expand one's idea of choice and options. Great to use at home with kids for the same reasons, without them ever even knowing they are learning new skills. Increases creativity. The freedom of the game allows for any type of mood to develop, so stories can be funny or serious, or both, and you can't purposely avoid an emotion that randomly comes up. I love that there are also heroic female endings included. I bought all the sets, and use them all. I also use the kindle book that helps you to write stories, as it suggests some standard plot twists to get people started being creative.

Everyone came up with very creative (and sometimes hilarious) twists to the plot. When we finished, my daughter told me she wants a copy for Christmas to keep at her house. My son keeps saying he can't wait to play it again! That, coming from him, says a lot about the game!

It's a really nice addition to the main game. It changes the stories up a bit. I've also purchased Seafaring tales, Create-your-own-story, and I'm hoping to get Knightly tales when it comes out. I would really like them to come out with a scary tales expansion.
