It is a really great book-I am like the other reviewer Erin S. as I like to know why something is done a certain way/how things work, & this explains everything from how the fermenting process works, to what you need to get started as well as moving on to more advanced fermenting/flavoring/making it an alcoholic yummy, lots of recipes too. It's not boring at all, in fact I am already on chapter 6, & I just started reading tonite. It's a very, very easy read, funny & super informative! I don't think I need any other book to learn about making this tea--love this book!! I'm glad I ran across it. I will also be checking out the author's website to order some supplies as I get into more advanced brewing. Get this book especially if you're just starting out like me---you won't be sorry!
