The input power measures 40W and the light output measures about 80% of my 50W year old unit. The temperature of the unit seems to hold steady at about 75 C on the back of the unit and so I expect it will be reasonably reliable since that is still in the upper operating range of this type of LED chip. It is is a very wet environment in the sump area of our salt water reef aquarium to provide growth light for the algae scrubber. Less than a week in and we are seeing growth already.
