I used screws with 3/8" heads due to the weight I wanted it to hold. This is not only a great product, but it was much more cost effective than other flanges that I found with the same thickness. After installing these for shelving, I decided to use these in the warehouse to make hangers for the guys to store uniforms on. That's when I realized how durable these flanges really are. I made a 5 foot long rack for uniforms and walk out there one day and these grown men are using it as a pull-up bar. Each guy weighing from 160 lbs. to 230 lbs. The flanges held up! Needless to say, I would recommend.

The vintage-style flanges are very well made. I use these for making doll stands for all sizes of porcelain antique reproduction dolls, Santas, and angels. Used with pipes and dowel rods, they hold a lot of weight.
