It’s like cheap cologne! But I do have to say that it does its job very well—great hold, and works well with a bit of water as well. I’m terrible. Here is the bottom line, though... First off, I love it, personally. Second, I am a female with a blonde, pixie cut that’s super texturised. So, here it is: Perfect, strong hold. Keeps things in place with super definition and an absolute matte finish. I have fine hair and this pomade (after an hour or so of wearing) makes me look like I have an extra half of my hair added. It can definitely give you a messy look if you want it to, but not if you don’t intend for it to. I had an American Crew, medium hold, high shine, pomade that I rarely use now because I love this one so much. I’ve had many years in the past of short hair and I haven’t found anything this great (all around) since the Fudge Hair Puddy I used to use as a teenager. So if you’re looking for great control, a matte finish, texture and (by the way) an amazing, kinda sandalwood, light scent (pretty faint, but lovely)... this is it. ### ⭐⭐ Not for just anyone *by D***L on Reviewed in the United States on March 8, 2019* Not bad, simply doesn’t hold very well!
