Honest PrayerFor openers . . . I am a student of John Shelby Spong . . . so my bias may be apparent. I found this book a refreshing introduction to prayer in my world . . . that is, today's world. This presentation called me to approach prayer today . . . now . . . rather than to use an approach dated in medieval times. I strongly suggest this book to anyone interested in exploring new dimensions to one'sprayer life. In my judgement, it would be an excellent resource for a multi-session exploration of prayer today.
