I was excited to try it because I am very careful to only use products that are free from harmful chemicals. From the other review complaining that it does not lather obviously doesn't understand that what causes soaps/shampoos to lather is sodium laurel sulfate which has been shown to be a potentially harmful chemical. Also, the bottle is of average size however it has lasted us 9 months, using it every other day or so. You only need a quarter size and can wash the whole baby. I pour the shampoo into my hand and by hand cover my baby with it and then use a wash cloth to clean off. I wouldn't recommend pouring onto a washcloth because of the non-lathering aspect of the wash. I personally love the smell and it seems to calm my daughter after her bath she smells fresh for longer than most washes I have tried.
