Review: 100% complete pre-built (unlike others), ready to install replacement. Very smooth operation, well built, good price. - My vinyl sliding window broke and some string hung down the side. It fell heavily on one side while the other seemed ok. I was just glad I could close it again and lock it. I thought I would need to have it replaced. A quick search on YouTube showed that the problem was likely the window balancer and that they can be replaced easily. Removed the old balancer, looked at the part number, matched it up here on desertcart (the numbering format won't be exact match but the digits will be the same) and found this replacement part that comes complete unlike several others that require you install the plastic ends with rivets (why would they do that?). This one came complete and installation literally took 10 minutes or less. I replaced both to ensure they would operate evenly and now my window works better than new, no exaggeration. I am considering replacing other still functional window balancers in my house with these which make opening and closing the window smooth and easy to close. These shipped quickly and were well packaged. GREAT product.

A: Yes, that should be the correct balance for your replacement.

**Q: Mine is "86 26-3 eb5 cmc 1209". will this work?**
A: I would say no some of the manufacturers use different numbers but if you don’t see a 26 and you use a 27 not gonna fit I will go back and look at the chart or contact the vendor . I was going to get them from swisco

**Q: I'm looking for a replacement to a window balance with a stamp 26 4 cw cmc 10. does the "26 4" option fit? where do i find info?**
A: Yes, that will be your replacement. The 26 on the stamp identifies the length of the balance from metal to metal. The balance is an inch more than the stamp. The 4 on the stamp identifies the sash weight that it can hold.
