It's not the most protective cover, but those kinds of cases are just to bulky. It does keep my phone from getting scratched and does provide some shock absorption for drops. Paired with a good screen protector I feel my phone is fairly well protected. I am very pleased with this product; it shipped quickly and in good packaging so that it arrived undamaged. The texture helps the case not feel so slippery, and thankfully I haven't seen any signs of dirt or damage that can sometimes afflict TPU cases. The black rubber section does add some protection to the phone, but my only issue is the section of rubber above the charging port. It's a very slim section of plastic that I'm worried could get stretched out or busted up somehow. Anyway, this case got to me immediately and ended up being better quality and more protective than the Casetify one. It keeps the glass of your phone off the table, wraps around all corners and keeps all ports easily accessible. The gold sparkles great in the sunlight and pretty decent in all other light. All the glitter is contained in the rubber or whatever material it is.
