It’s like a soft cotton, I love it. I am 5’8 with a large butt and small boobs and so the back of the dress does not touch the floor, but the front does. If you have bigger boobs this definitely will work and it will bring up the fabric in the front. It’s definitely true comfortable sizing. I wear a large in maxi dresses because of my height and hip size, and this is a comfortable large, I could probably wear a medium if I wanted it more fitted. I have wide shoulders and the elastic band did not feel tight and I like how the dress looks on the shoulders too.
