I head a pair of these for about 5 years and they were brilliant boots, although expensive they were really worth the extra. Great fit and very hard wearing.

I have had a few pairs of hiking boots over the years and most of them have been perfect for what I wanted them for. My last pair however were great in everyday until I hiked in bad weather and they leaked and were not very grippy on the rocks. Actually I slipped a few times making them quite dangerous to wear. So I now only wear them while out walking the dog.These Meindl Men's Burma GTX boots though, these are the real deal. Comfy waterproof sturdy and have amazing grip on the wet rocks. More than o wanted to pay but I am glad I did now I've used them for a few trips.
