Am looking for a good quality case for my weapon. Will this hold it ?** A: Yeah it'll work but I don't think its viable to spend more money on the case then the AirSoft gun cost you? There are plenty of pretty good cases that would be more suitable and more cost effective for your weapon, I mean it's a great case and is worth the money if your going to use it for your real guns. Plano makes a pretty good case for half the cost or less then this case and will do almost as good a job as this case will.. I know some higher end AirSoft AR rifles can cost a few hundred $$$$ and I'd rather put that much money towards a real rifle and then the case will be worth the moneyBC **Q: What are the exact dimensions?** A: Are you looking for the outside dimensions or the inside? **Q: does this case come with bottom foam cut outs as pictured on ad?** A: Yes, the bottom foam is cut out for either a 14.5 or 16 in AR15. It also has a cut out for a beretta m9 with or without a light. The picture on Amazon is from an older version and it's not correct. The current version has been updated with the pistol cut out on the right side of the case. Also, the lid has cut outs for magazines, silical canister and for a suppressor. **Q: Does this come with closed-cell polyethylene foam or just open cell foam?** A: I bought this case about 3 years ago and it didn't come with closed cell foam, it was pick and pluck foam. If you own any of Pelican's cases then you know what kind of quality to expect. If you've never owned 1 then I'll tell you that they are indestructible cases that the latches always work and dust doesn't adhere to for some reason. But after getting it, it seemed less durable and didn’t have wheels on the bottom, I tried to save a few bucks but this was a long term investment and I knew I’d regret it sooner or later.This Storm case is much more durable. Seems more solid, better lock up, definitely s bit heavier and has wheels.This case is what Pelican is all about.Very happy I went with this line and case from Pelican. Bought this one and have to return it because the foam cutouts are not cut properly for what is supposed to go in there. You cannot fit 1 mag for an AR15 or M4 or M16 let alone 18. They are not cut properly. Not sure if it's a defective case from pelican sold cheaper but I will be calling to find out. Will try and post the info I get from pelican. Pelican has been doing business with all the armed forces for a very long time so I am finding it very hard to believe that these cases being sold on amazon weren't bought cheaper because of several very bad cuts in the foam for the AR15 platform including the mag cutouts that you cannot put a single magazine in. I used 4 different brands of mags and the cutouts are way to small. You can see it as soon as you open the case. I am in need of 1 but would not spend 50 bucks on this case let alone 260 to not fit anything properly. I hope this helps anyone who is looking for a case like this. Send an email to the seller and ask why people are posting problems with the foam. The case is absolutely pelican and the best of the best but I need the cutouts with the case. There are other companies that sell pelican, casecruzer, guncruzer cases with custom foam cutouts for a bit more but you will probably get what you want the first time(hopefully). The foam is very tough and the cut out is too low in the case, so I can't put my rifle away with a 30 round magazine in it. It won't fit. Plus, the magazine cut outs are not big enough.
