Spark plug was only a year old and clean; fuel was new. My next best guess was the coil. I watched some YouTube videos, and it appeared to be pretty straight forward - but not necessarily easy without small fingers! When taking out the old coil, I noted the flywheel to have a good bit of corrosion (it is nearly 20 years old) so I cleaned it up with a wire brush. Install went easy after I decided that instead of pulling the wire under the fuel tank to the on/off switch, I'd just swap out using the old wire on the new coil. Easy-peasy disconnect/reconnect. And it started on the very first pull.
