**Q: Does this need to be refrigerated before being opened?  If so, how is it shipped?**
A: This product is shipped with proper perishable packing and in warmer months it is shipped so that it doesn't take more than two days to arrive to the customer. It needs to be kept refrigerated (both before and after opening.) This is answer is valid only if you buy this product from Tulumba Marketing.

**Q: Is This Lactose Free?**
A: No it's not lactose free. The difference between this "feta" (for lack of a better term) and Greek feta is that this one is made with cows milk and Greek feta with sheep's milk.  I prefer this "feta" since it tastes almost the same but does not have that after taste that the Greek one does.

**Q: can this be frozen?**
A: Freezing feta cheese or white cheese is not advised, as the process of freezing and thawing changes the texture of the cheese (it becomes very crumbly).
