Nambu Ironware is a craft in Iwate Prefecture, boasting a history of about 400 years since the Edo Kannei era. Iwaso has been highly regarded in Japan and abroad as a manufacturer of Nambu Ironware that preserves traditional techniques and creates new traditions since its establishment in 1998. It has excellent heat retention, and it heats up well and brings out the natural qualities of the ingredients. Grooves help to remove excess oil and create a clean grill. Winner of the 2011 Good Design Award. Pro Arte series designed by Finland designer Tauno Tarna.

料理をするときは焼くだけなので四角の方が使いやすい、だが洗うときは四隅が洗いにくい。 タッパーなんかではそういう洗いやすさを考えて選んでいたがグリルパンでは考えてなかった。 四角の方が長い野菜なんかを真ん中じゃなくても使えるから便利、それはもうほんと便利なのでもう丸には戻れない。 ちょっと変わったおしゃれな変わった焼き目もすごくいいです。 もちろんムラもなく焼けるのでいいです。
