I was kind of on the fence about it, but it was like 1/3 of the normal price, and I had about 5 dollars in promotional credit, so I said why not. Shamefully, I will use my iPhone/iPod Touch until the tips of my fingers literally get sore. Yes, I need iPhone Anonymous... but anyway -- my goal was to find well, a stylus to help me navigate around my iPhone as not to put as much strain on my hands/fingers after a while (or at least to swap out).Being my first time trying a stylus with these devices, I can give my immediate and unbiased opinion of what thoughts passed through my mind as I tried it for the first time.My first thought was "wow... this is it?" LOL, it felt like one of those color art pencils used for drawing, cut in half with a little bit of iPod earbud pads (the little black things) glued to the end. I considered the thought that I possibly could have created this myself in the lab for pennies. Then I decided, let's give it a shot. Second thought was "wow, this thing is a little too short" -- now I know what you ladies feel like sometimes. With my burly man hands (not really) I can palm the top of the stylus and still use it on the screen. In fact, that's how I would use it trying to figure out the best way... I'd palm the end of it, then brace the rest with my index finger and thumb. Kinda like I was using a shading pencil or something? (I'm no artist, for sure)Next, after trying it for a second, my impression was "wow", you really have to put significant pressure on the screen with the tip to get it to respond. Almost uncomfortable pressure, in that it makes me feel like I could scratch or break the screen. Tapping is the same way... it's not just a little gingerly *tap*... you gotta pull back and put some a-- into it to get it to take the click, again. I was not expecting to have to use this much pressure at all. The end result was that it didn't pick up half the taps/swipes, etc that I tried... but when I did it to where they would surely register, I was waiting for my screen to crack. This was on an iPhone with no cover on it... rather, no screen protector. Bare screen, so it's not like that was a factor in dulling the sensitivity.The thing is about the length of my middle finger, which is what I give to Ten One for... nah. I'm just kidding!Truly, though... I tried it on several different devices from iPhone 3GS, to iPhone 4, iPod Touch 3rd and 4th generation... Same result. I suppose I was so used to the very light touch that the screen responds to when using my actual fingers; just expect this beforehand: it's not that smooth and soft of a touch. I may try and upload some photos if they don't have too many already up there, maybe one showing size relative to something common... maybe a video if I can to show how it fails to respond on most of my swipes and taps.And the biggest letdown is that after messing with this thing for a few minutes on a few different days, it found its permanent home in my junk drawer, never to be touched since. I agree with one reviewer who said that it needs to be a bit longer... it does; I feel like I'm holding a golf pencil.For five bucks, I just called my losses, $5 wasn't the end of the world. Check the user photos section and I'll try and upload some of this stub. LOL. Oh, and the spongy type tip is about the size of an eraser head. Maybe if it were a bit more tapered or a bit more solid (without going so far as to destroy the screen) it would probably act better, I think. Oh well. This'll be my last stylus experiment! Should've stuck with the 10 stylus' that I was born with! ;) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's a Stylus, and It Does Its Job- IPAD REVIEW *by D***D on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on June 16, 2010* Well this stylus is made for the Iphone, and Ipod Touch (why not call it the Itouch?...guess that could be taken the wrong way), but me being such a maverick bought this little beast for my Ipad.I know what you are thinking, "This kid is nuts!" well hang in there, I am going to blow your mind with this......"It works WONDERS!"Sick of finger prints on your screen? Sick of Steve Jobs telling you that writing with your finger is possible when we all know he is completely insane? Well break away from the pack and buy one of these! You could of course make your own stylus out of a pen, conductive material (aluminum foil, anti-static bag) and maybe a touch of happy thoughts, but if you like your $700 investment like I do, spend a few bucks so you don't scratch your screen.Break Down:Pros:1)Super small, Super simple, It is a Stylus and that is it, don't expect it to make you breakfast or anything.2)Soft Soft Soft - You never have to worry about scratching your screen, I am hoping they design a chair out of the stylus material, this stuff is amazing.3)It just works, when you use it on the screen it is just like as if you use a finger, no more, no less.Cons:1)Super small...I guess this can be a Con as well because I will most likely lose it, but for the price I can get a few more for safe keeping. If I am not mistaken they make a larger one specifically for the Ipad, although it did not fit as well in my case.2)Don't expect to draw a Picasso, It is a stylus but for those who aren't informed, the Ipad will only accept something that is near finger size as a touch input device and therefore you cannot use anything fine point. ALTHOUGH: Some people have mad skill, I do not, I have seen some amazing drawings done with these but for your normal pencil artist this won't cut it.Final Thoughts:I really enjoy this, and I feel you will as well, like I stated before it is a stylus, and it works as such. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Iphone Stylus *by H***N on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on September 28, 2008* If you are used to the Palm Pilot Stylus, then you might have to take some time getting used to this thicker diameter stylus. The tip is made of some sort of "styrofoam" and the diameter is similar to that of a pencil erasure. The diameter itself is what takes time to get used to since it's more clumsy than precise. Overall, it's pretty effective and much better than any other stylus on the market for the iPhone. If you have a screen protector, this stylus will require a lot more pressure to use. I would say that 80% of the time it works fine, the other 20% you will need to re-press the affected area... when used with a screen protector. There is a break in period. At first use, the tip of the stylus doesn't slide as well along the iPhone screen, however, after a couple of weeks usage, the tip becomes softer and smoother to use, making it a lot easier to slide on the screen. So give it a chance and you will be very happy using this stylus. Still wish it came with a narrower tip and was much heavier. It's very light since it's just a hollow piece of aluminum. The pogo also comes with a couple of iPhone Stylus holders that I find is much more effective than the competition that use a "pen cap" approach of keeping your stylus attched to your phone.
