## Description

The Taylor 13.25-Inch Indoor and Outdoor Round Dial Thermometer combines trusted measurement accuracy with an attractive teal bezel design that looks as good as it performs. Whether you are monitoring temperatures on a covered back porch, tracking conditions in a greenhouse, checking the reading from your kitchen window, or keeping an eye on the mudroom entryway, this large-face thermometer delivers clear, at-a-glance readings without the need for batteries or digital displays. The analog dial design means there are no screens to squint at and no power source to manage - just reliable, straightforward temperature monitoring day after day, season after season. Spanning a wide measurement range from -60 degrees Fahrenheit all the way to 120 degrees Fahrenheit (or -50 degrees Celsius to 50 degrees Celsius), this thermometer is built to handle the full spectrum of conditions across all four seasons. From the coldest winter mornings to the peak heat of summer afternoons, you will always have an accurate read on the environment around you. The bold, easy-to-read dial face is scaled in both Fahrenheit and Celsius, making it useful for households that prefer either measurement system. At 13.25 inches in diameter, the round face is large enough to read from a comfortable distance, whether mounted on an exterior wall, attached to a garden fence post, or hung near a window inside your home. The teal bezel adds a pop of color and a decorative touch that complements a wide range of home decor styles - from coastal and farmhouse to modern and eclectic. It works equally well as a functional wall accent in a kitchen, sunroom, garage, or outdoor living space. Taylor has been manufacturing precision measurement instruments since 1851, and that heritage of accuracy and craftsmanship is reflected in every product the brand produces. This weather thermometer is a straightforward, dependable tool for anyone who wants to stay informed about the temperature in and around their home without relying on a smartphone app or electronic device. Mount it, read it, trust it - that is the Taylor promise.

Review: Works great, nice large display viewable from a distance - I bought this for my 91 year old mother who lives out in the desert and she loves it. She used to have a traditional mercury thermometer hanging on the wall and she would always have to go outside to read the small temperature scale next to the vertical mercury tube. With this one she can just look out the window and easily see what the temperature is without having to go outside. It is installed on the wall in a covered walkway between the house and garage. It is a light product but has been hanging on the wall with a single screw mount and hasn't moved or fallen off in over a year and it does get windy in the walkway. I haven't checked the accuracy against another thermometer but in the desert it gets cold at night and hot in the day. I talk to my mom every day on the phone and the first thing she always says is how hot or cold it is and she will mention temperatures anywhere from the 50s to the 100s depending on the season and time of day. So while it may not be accurate to the exact degree, it does change relative to the outside temperature and is perfect to gauge the temperature.
Review: Nice quality worth the money! - I live in Florida and have been looking for a nice all around outdoor thermometer and this one is really nice! It’s built nice too! Great size and has held up so far with this intense heat and the high rain storms that we also get !! I definitely recommend this! There wasn’t anything to set up at all I just took it out of the package and hung it up in my shed outside and it adjusted to the weather within minutes!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tell the temp...
*by K***R on September 23, 2024*

OK so this is a cheap bimetal thermometer, not some fancy digital, compensated or mercury-driven precision instrument. So don't expect more out of it than it's designed to deliver. Put it in a shady spot and it'll tell you the temp there. Put it in the sun and it'll heat up that bimetallic spring and tell you what it thinks of that. If you want a precision temperature indicator, this invention from the 1940s, encased in 2000s plastic, ain't what you're looking for. If you want a general idea of whether it's t-shirt or gloves weather out there, it's just fine. Oh and I do have a fancy, precision, compensated weather station at my house, and the outside temp right at my house is also shown on my Apple Watch (when I'm wearing it), so it's not like I don't have something for comparison.
