Please note that it can be drying but the benefits far outweigh having to use a bit of moisturizer. Yes it's great for skin, acne prone skin, sensitive skin, rosacea, it's even great for those with compromised immune systems that can't fight off everything a healthy system can. I have had "mysterious" skin issues ( it's been called an overactive immune system, Morgellons disease, allergies, imaginary.... you name it..) for several years now and I have tried everything from Borax, lemon juice, bleach, peroxide, even the Windex and nothing seemed to help long-term but this soap has changed my life. It's like magic, it just cleans everything! For example, I had relentless soap scum on my shower doors that neither CLR, borax & bleach nor Magic erasers or even steel wool could get rid of; but I kid you not, with a tiny bit of the virgin coconut oil soap on a piece of toilet paper and it was gone!!! I didn't even have to scrub. This stuff even cleaned my oven… I lathered up a paper towel and wiped a bit but did not scrub and it was like magic. When I first saw the bar of soap, I was worried I would be out of it in no time, but it has been about 2 months and I still have a half bar left. I don't use it everyday though. I was using this whenever I get hives hoping that it will help reduce the itching and reduce the hives itself. Not sure if that thery actually works, but knowing what I know about how awesome and powerful coconut is for clearing so many helath issues and helping to kill off bacteria, I don't think one can go wrong using this soap for anything. I love ths smell. It isn't strong, just right. I would use this on a newborn. I don't think anyone with sensitive skin issues should have any problems using this, but of course, I am not a doctor, smiles. If you like coconut, the real thing and not a fake coconut smell, you will love this bar soap! Great design and packaging by the company. I do love the coconut oil soap, and the lather that it produces. I will say what that while it is good for your skin, I would not suggest it for your face as it did produce blackheads for me when I used it on my face. I will definitely be going back to my African Black Soap for my face or just using regular skin toner. In addition, I thought the soap had a scrub effect from the Moringa leaves, but I didn't feel any type of scrub effect.
