So I read about butter bells somewhere (I can't remember where) and bought this one. It looks nice in my red-accented kitchen, keeps the butter fresh (allegedly for two weeks, but the butter never lasts that long, so I can't say for sure) and soft enough to spread easily. The only thing you have to do is pack the butter firmly into the bell and change the water in the bottom every couple of days. This butter bell is easy to wash, too, between fillings of butter. ### ⭐⭐ Meh *by B***Y on Reviewed in the United States on May 21, 2021* It wasn't as great as my friend told me it was. She claimed the butter would be perfectly soft and spreadable by using this compared to a traditional butter dish with cover. However, the butter was harder (ie. unspreadable) in the butter bell than in our butter dish. It was able to sit out longer than the butter dish, but if you're using butter pretty regularly this isn't an issue. We ended up tossing this and going back to our covered butter dish and perfectly spreadable butter. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very Nice *by M***L on Reviewed in the United States on April 7, 2021* This was delivered promptly, but this is the first time I have had a bad delivery from Amazon. The crock is ceramic and easily broken. Instead of front door or garage delivery it was left on top of mailbox at the front of road. It had fallen on the ground and we did not see it laying in the road. Found it when we backed out of our drive.
