Are they the real usa made or a cheap chinese knock off??** A: They are not made in the US, they are made in China. However I would not describe them as cheap Chinese knock-offs by any means. I currently own 26 different guitars, both new and vintage, and these are on par with anything I’ve got. The most important thing to note is the faithful reproduction of what Kay built about 60 or so years ago. They are painstaking in their detail and you will not be disappointed by any means. **Q: Where can I get a case for this guitar?** A: Mine came with a case but try Guitar Fetish . **Q: What is nut width on jazz special. Is it 1 & 3/4 " ?** A: The bone nut is 43mm Approximately 1.69 inches on the K8700V Barney Kessel Signature Series Jazz Special Vintage Reissue Electric Guitar **Q: Where can I find a case for mine?** A: They almost always ship with a very high quality two tone case. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Each time I open the case I smile *by N***X on August 30, 2024* I've owned this guitar now for a couple years and figured I just had to write a review. I've been playing guitar since the early 90s and have owned (and sold) many guitars in that time but this Kay Barney Kessel is easily one of the best gear purchases I've ever made. Absolutely phenomenal quality across the board, from pickups, intonation, fret level, tuning, etc. This is actually one of the most stable guitars I've ever owned in terms of tuning, I maybe have to tune a string once every 6 months, it's unreal how well it stays in tune.I come back to this page every so often hoping a straggler guitar pops up so I can buy it to have one as a backup. With as many guitars as I own I'm not really in the business of hoarding backups but this is an exception. Kay totally hit it out of the park with this guitar.The fact I managed to get it at such a discount during an Amazon sale is incredible.. excellent top shelf hardshell case and all! I only wish I had a time machine to go back and scoop up 3 or 4 of these things. Greedy, I know, but it's really that good. Beautiful headstock, deluxe deco tuning pegs, fretboard inlays, vintage tailpiece, it's one of those handsome jazz boxes with a classic timeless look that people can't help but comment on and compliment.
