What is quoted above is from the manufacturer. I hand wash my bundt pan. I have not and will not use the dishwasher on this pan because I don't know what the dishwasher detergent will do to the non-stick coating and the cast aluminum metal. It does produce really beautiful cakes. **Q: I know the instructions say not to use cooking spray - but has anyone tried this and had it work?** A: Yes, I do used cooking spray and it works okay. You could used unsalted butter and flour. It also works fine.
