They are sturdy .the seats are attractive & adequate. was disappointed its fiberboard with a laminate and not hardwood as they say in the add ..BUT.. as long as you follow the manufacturer's guidelines of DO NOT USE THEM OUTSIDE . I saw that many purchasers put them outside then couldnt figure out why the seats went to pot ..well .. it clearly says DO NOT USE STOOLS OUTSIDE.. seats will warp split and peel even in mild conditions.
