One VERY important thing to note, though - your skin must be clean and absolutely, totally dry before you apply the Retinol. If it's not, you will find that your face gets horribly itchy and irritated. I wash my face, tone, then leave it for a good 10 minutes before applying. You can put a serum on underneath if you want to, but again let it dry completely. The results are amazing - smoother, plumper skin, smaller pores, acne scars faded, no breakouts, glowing skin. Do you use one after the other or do you use on alternating days? Thanks** A: Use 1500 first 2 or 3 x per week build up to every day then follow same process with a313. It has mixed reviews, and the main complaint is that it is greasy and oily on the skin. According to the description on the various websites, it is a "magical" cream that does everything - it nourishes, hydrate, heal, regenerate, protect, stimulate, make skin soft and smooth, and has vitamin A. Basically, a lot of buzzwords words. Unfortunately, in my experience, when the product can do everything, usually it relatively weak substance that makes no difference what's so ever. I only bought it for the A313. **Q: How do you use these** A: First things first. - Don't use it if you have an allergy to one of the ingredients - Don't use it on infected or weeping skin lesions, mucous membranes or burns - Talk to your doctor before using it if you are pregnant - Don't store it above 25°C (77°F) 1. Use it at night 2. Make sure your skin is dry 3. Use a pea-sized amount 4. Spread it in a thin layer 5. Skip night cream 6. If you use retinoids, it's advised to wear sunscreen. How often? Your skin needs to get used to retinoids. 1. Once a week for the first week 2. Twice a week for the next two weeks 3. Three times a week for the next three weeks 4. Every other night (if tolerated) for the next few months 5. Nightly (if tolerated) Your skin might itch or become dry if you are not used to retinoids. Usually, people get used to it during 5-7 weeks. Itching is a common side effect if your skin can't tolerate A313 yet; many people go through that phase. If you can't handle it, try to reduce the application schedule, or you can apply it for a short period and then wash it off. Until eventually, you can tolerate it for the entire night. You can use moisturiser before or together (in equal amounts) to reduce dryness. If you use any other products, try to apply them 20-30+ minutes before A313. Otherwise, you can reduce their effectiveness.
