They're so simple to put ANYWHERE and I don't have the annoyance of finding a wall socket that's close to my desired location (and that won't leave a ton of cord awkwardly stretched out). This IS a short strand of lights but that's exactly what I needed. No issues with anything not working. I previously got a longer set that kept shorting out; nothing like that with these. I'm sure it just a luck of the draw type thing. Anyhow, these are cute. Add a bit of flare to the focused area.
