Holy Grail mask. *by G***N on June 29, 2020* I don't usually go in for mud clay masks because often they are drying and stripping, and I do not have oily skin, more combination skin that can tend towards dry in a few areas. But I have been blown away by the efficacy and luxury of all the products I've tried from this brand, so I was delighted to find this at the start of summer when I often look for something that will tighten pores.This mask applies smoothly to the skin and has a soft and smooth texture, and as it dries out, it does a little bit of that normal thing that mud masks do where they crackle a little bit in the areas where they have dried out. I hear that that is part of the activity of the mud, where as it dries it draws out impurities from the pores. When I rinsed off this mask with a washcloth, I was gratified to discover that it had indeed gone a long way towards removing impurities from my skin around my nose and chin, and my whole face felt clean but not at all stripped of moisture. This mask gave me all of the benefits of a mud mask without any of the drawbacks.I also appreciated that it did not have much discernible fragrance, because too much fragrance on a face care product is usually irritating to my skin.Overall I was just so impressed by the even skin tone and skin texture that this mask gave me. It was well worth the time to do a wash off mask.
