Very secure tight fit that is much better than what I had in the past. My prior lock became extremely difficult to open, almost had to find a way to cut it off. After trying to get the old lock on for about 30 minutes it finally gave in and open. Very quickly threw that one in the trash can.This Johnson lock seems so much more sturdy and better built and he lock design is so much better. Very pleased I bought this lock instead of another one of the prior style I had ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent hitch lock *by M***. on May 28, 2013* I got this when I upgraded my truck from a F150 to a F250 and needed the 2 1/2" length. I was already using a 2" version with a smaller coupler lock I used on my camper that are keyed alike. I was hoping that I could just swap the lock end of my 2" version to the longer 2 1/2" shaft end of this one and still be able to use just a single key...yup it worked perfectly! So apparently the locking ends of these are interchangeable with the different length shafts; which is very useful.
